Dear Huldah

     I am thankful that I am Spared to See another Sabbath morning and blessed with the privaleg of writing to my loved ones at home ) I hope that you and your little family is enjoying good health ) I think that I am on the mend I am gaining Strength in my knees my Breast has got well, I am a little dout ful that I will not Stand the hot Sun verry well even these days ) the Sun Seams to effect my head more than it used to but it may all come rite )

well wee are going to have mashed tater and turnups for dinner I have Just been healping to peal them wee are living fine now. wee get Some buiscuits once and a while for Supper) it may be that I will Send you a photograph in this letter I have put in for Some I think I will get them in the morning . I want you to have yours taken the first chance that you have . for mine will be lonesom without yours By the side of it tell Father that I want him to have his and mothers taken So wee can have them in our Bible I recon that Ben and Martha and John and Susan will get theirs taken ) I would

like one of each of our brothers and Sisters if wee can get them) you must have a dozen taken So wee can give one to each family of our brothers and Sisters and one for willey then wee want one for our Selves but enough of this at the presant ) ten oc AM: I have Just had a fine mess of rosted potatoes Some that I Brought in from the kitchen when I was pealing for dinner I have Just now eate the last of the Butter (on my rosted potatoes) that you gave me when I Started from home. I eate the last of the cakes and molases yesterday the reason it lasted So well is because wee have plenty to eate and that ) that is good enough for any body ) if I only knew that the Boys of Co.C. was living as well I would be better Satisfied )

if you have not planted the pine Seed (go) rite now and plant them. that is if you wanto ) give uncle George the Watermelon Seede. tell him that I want to come and healp him eate Watermelons this fall )
March the 27 good eavening Huldy ) I have Just got Some of my photographs I will get the remainder in a few days I had a dozen taken I had to pay four Dollars for a dozen I will Send you one I want you to tell me wheather you think it is a good picture or not . I am not quite So full in the face as I was when I was at home I guess I was bloted a little when I was at home Dear when you have your picture taken please send me one ) this leaves me as well as common Remember your unworthy husband I will close for the presand ) May the lord Bless and save us to gather in heaven
