My Dear Companion I feel thankful to my dear Savior that I am Spared to See another Sabbath and blessed with the privalege of writing to my dear ones at home: I hope that you are all well and getting along fine. my letters has not Come yet and I am going to the Regt in the morning (if nothing happens) to See if My letters has not got thare Dearest I am going to try the field again I cant tell how I will Stand the hot Sun: but I feel better now than I have Since last fall but the hard Ships of Soldiering may Soon get

me down again but I hope I will Stand it fine well love thare is a gradeel of talk of us Coming home to vote but I cant think that the 80t will ever be So lucky as to get to come to old hoosier untill our time is out but I hope wee will get to come) well Dearest I have Just hered a Sermond and it mey be the last one for Some time for our Chaplin has gon home on a leave of abcence and he will not be apt to be back Soon: Dear I dreamed last night of Seeing our dear little willie bad Sick but as Soon as he Seen me he Said I believe that is pa and he raised up in the bed and huged

me and gave me a good kiss I feel Some what uneasy Since I get no letters it mey be that you havnt been getting my letters but I hope you have ) when I think of the happy hours that wee have Spent of Sabbath eavening and then think of our privations at the presant it almost dishartenes me. but when I take the Second thought I know it is all rite and for our good: for the lord is Mercifull to his children and all things work together for good for them that love god oh that wee may be faithful, and live So, when wee are called from this world of Sorrow and trouble wee will be prepared to meete

our Dear Savior and here the words Come ye blessed of my Father thar is a crown prepared for you remember me love in your prayers) tell me wheather willie is going to School Now or not and if he is tell me how he learns (what do you think) what do you reckon I would give to be with you to night ) well I guess I would give you a good hug and kiss ) but then another thought I haint thare and you woant get the hug and kiss unless you get Some of your neighbors to do it well love i will have to close, (Forget me not)
