Dinwiddiee co. Nov. 19

Dear uncle

     I received yours of the seventh a few day ago. The business you wrote to me about was promptly attended to & now your name is in the muster Roll of co. I. I should of answered yours before this but was expecting you every day. I am sure you are sick at least I am afraid so If you are Just get a certifercate from that Board (medical) and send it immediately to the company If no Board in the co. at this time why get certifercates from three surgeons which constitute a Board. Phil requested me to state this to you as they are very strict here at this time about such things. If a man stays Just stays two days over his time he is court marshaled But if you will Just do as I tell you and you get them you can stay Just

as long as you want at home I am truly sorry for you & dont think Justice was done by you. But I do hope that our struggles that we are in will soon cease And alls of us return again. It is now raining & looks like we are going to have a good deal. not much news a stiring for the last few days. I got a letter from mother recently would have answered it before this but time has not permitted. John S. White is married I believe. I must close as I am in a great hurry & expect the mail has gone up. Tell mother I will write to her soon Good By from your [3 words illeg.]
