Pleasent Hard frost last night Set up 3 Hours this morning Sanitary Ladies make us a visit

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 1863.

Snowed five inches depe Getting better Set up all day Here comes supper

 

TUESDAY 20

Cloudy Man died last night Rheumatism some better Get no mail yet Do not know where the Regt is

 

FRIDAY 23

Cold, Sun Shines Bright Sanitary visit Give me 2 Eggs some Butter & som Ham for which I thanked them Wasent it a wonder

 

WEDNESDAY 21

Pleasent General cleaning up day, make me stay in Bed all day

 

SATURDAY 24

Fine day Snow going fast Blacking Stoves & Cleaning House is the order of the day 40 Men Returned for their Discharges
