Cloudy with the apperance of rain Firing commenced again this afternoon at Vicksburg Write two Letters One To Miss Mary Sh & One to M J No Dress Parade

MONDAY, JULY 6, 1863.

Very fine Relieved at 6.O.C P.M Camp moved one half mile

 

SATURDAY 4

Very warm On Fatigue Vicksburg has surrendered at 10.O.C AM Captured all the Prisenors & arms, Paroled all thier Prisenors at Vicksburg

 

TUESDAY 7

Very warm find plenty of Burries & & Pork & Beef Roll Call at 8 oc

 

SUNDAY 5

Very Warm Regt Ordered to Oak Ridge Leave camp at 10.O.C. A M arrive at Oak Ridge at 3.O.C P M On Picket

 

WEDNESDAY 8

Still warm fine shower in the afternoon On picket Dress Parade
