Very pleasent went to church in the forenon Retured home at knight

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7, 1863.

Very cold, Travel from Rice Lake to Northfield, to stay to Mr Wilcoxes,

Bought a pair of Boots of Mr Dockwood $4 1/2

 

MONDAY 5

Pleasent Start for Fort snelling stay all night with H Lasure

 

THURSDAY 8

Clear & cold, Went over to Mr Barretts

 

TUESDAY 6

Clear & cold, Travel from Salem to Rice Lake, Distance 25 miles, very tired

 

FRIDAY 9

Pleasent Remain at Mr Barretts
