Rather Windy Nothing going on here & I cant here of anything anywhere else All quiet at Roll Call

MONDAY, APRIL 13, 1863.

Weather rainy Four Gun Boats arrived to Day No news of importance

 

SATURDAY 11

On gard weather pleasent The Day passed with out accident

 

TUESDAY 14

Start for Columbus Corp Gard James Boardman B Private OD Gamage [i.e., Private Oliver D. Gamage] Comp A bord at wheat pile Embark on the Lloyd & Binghamton J Wilson [i.e., Private John Wilson] Wagon master Day had hours for wind Weather Rainy Heavy fog at night

Come of from gard at 9.o.c. Weather cool All quiet up to Roll Call

Cold & cloudy arrived at Paducah at 9.O.C. Disembarck very windy Get Breakfast at the Provost Marshalls Reimbarck on board the Cincinnati at 2.O.C. Land at Metropolis Disembarck at Cairo at 10.O.C stay at the Soldiers home Kept by Thomas Maddy
