Pleasent Company drill this forenoon & Battallion Drill & Dress Parad in the afternoon No news from the south very windy at Roll Call

Cloudy no Drill nor Dress Parade Lay around camp all day & retire to my Humble couch amediately after Roll call

Pleasent this morning Simmons goes to the Hospital Receive Marching Orders to Iowa left to day Sleepe with our guns by our sides
